Are affairs always a bad thing? I guess they can't be too much of a good thing if the other person is going to be hurt by them.
But what if you yourself genuinely don't mean to hurt that person - you just feel you want to experience again that thrill of being with someone different.
What if you feel as if you just want to experience having sex with someone else again without any emotional attachment - but don't want to risk arrest or being mugged by visiting a red light area.
I guess swinging is more and more popular these days but isn't the idea of that that your partner consents? What if they don't?
I've not had an affair in my marriage and, to the best of my knowledge, nor has my wife.
I know it would break her heart if I did have one and I don't intend to but I would like to know if other bloggers believe that having an affair is always a bad thing, of which no good can come.
Let's talk ...

the world and me

Here I am finally getting back round to blogging.
So what's new?
I just want to add my views to some topics I've got an interest in at the moment and will trouble you with my views on four (children permitting) - Bush in Asia, England in India, Wycombe in another draw and sex everywhere.
Firstly, George W. I see from technorati that he's the hot topic of the moment - I would imagine he often is, given the frenzy many seem to get in when his name crops in conversations all round the globe.
There have been people killed, of course, in India and Pakistan as a result of his visit and banners featuring his face being burnt.
But the point I want to make is far from the usual politcally correct one of what a danger this man is to the globe.
I saw a banner in one of the countries he is currently visiting describing him as the world's no 1 terrerist (sic) and this seems to be a point of view many to the left of centre routinely adopt.
This tends to be on the basis, of course, of American troops being sent into Afghanistan and Iraq to bring about regime change.
But how can anyone seriously believe that Bush - who responded to the mass unprovoked murder of thousands of international citizens in his country on September 11, 2001, be more dangerous than fanatics around the world who glory in the random killing of anyone who doesn't share the same religion as them or happens to be on the wrong public transport at the wrong time
And, furthermore, how can he be considered to be more dangerous than the president of Iran, who calls on another country to be wiped off the face of the earth (again, because he dosen't agree with the religion followed by the majority of that nation) and is intent on building nuclear weapons?
Is it me or have an awful lot of people been so blinded by their anti-American sentiments that they have simply lost their marbles?
Talking of India, and we may still end up losing of course, well done to the English cricket team who have been doing so well in Nagpur during the First Test. It looked like they would struggle to get a full team out earlier in the week, what with injuries, personal problems and the inconvenience of babies been born, but they have and are doing very well against formidable opponents.
As for my football team Wycombe, it looks like we blew it again earlier, blowing the chance of three points at Cheltenham by conceding a late equaliser. We've only lost two league games all season but coud miss out on promotion to the First Division because of the huge number of draws we've had.
Finally, I promised to mention sex. Well, there we go, I have now and all I would say about it is - isn't it just the best free entertainment going.
